Sparkling Point (スパークリング☆ポイント) was a group of three female singers from Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan consisting of Airi Tanaka (田中亜衣里), Asuka Sato (里明日香), and Azusa Mitsu (満梓). The group was formed in November 2003 after a regional singing audition sponsored by a record company in which all three girls participated. They debuted in September 2004 with the single "Hey Hey Baby! You're NO.1!" and went on to release a total of 10 singles, 3 albums, and a live DVD. Their songs were used as theme songs to a number of TV programs. They broke up in June 2009. Azusa has since begun a solo singing career. Asuka also began a solo career but announced in 2011 that she would stop musical activities to focus on something completely different. Read more on Last.fm.
