佐々木ゆう子 (Yuko Sasaki) is a Japanese singer from Sendai, Japan. Having had her musical career born out of an audition for the ASAYAN label, she is most recognized for the single "PURE SNOW" released in 1999 as the opening theme song for the animated TV show "火魅子伝" (Legend of Himiko), and subsequently the single "PRAY" used as the opening theme for "セラフィムコール" (Seraphim Call). After a long activity pause, 佐々木ゆう子 returned in 2006 on Columbia Records to release the single "砂上の夢" (Sajo no Yume) as the opening theme song for the animated TV show "ザ・サード ～蒼い瞳の少女～ (The Third: The Girl With the Blue Eye), and "One Kiss" for the TV show "円盤皇女ワるきゅーレ 時と夢と銀河の宴" (UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie 4: Banquet of Time, Dreams, and Galaxies).
