剛紫

剛紫 is the name under which Domoto Tsuyoshi of Kinki Kids operates his solo work as of April 2009. On February 27th he officially declared the end of his solo project ENDLICHERI☆ENDLICHERI and subsequently also of 244-ENDLI-x, the name to which he had switched in 2008. With ending the project, he wanted to emphasize changing his style, and as such the music is purposely different from the funk sound of previous albums. 剛紫 can be read in various ways, but since Domoto wanted to return to his own name, it has been agreed on that the kanji are read as "Tsuyo-shi". He himself said that his music now is meant to express as much of himself and be as honest as possible with the listener. The new album, 美 我 空 - ビ ガ ク ～ my beautiful sky (Bi ga ku - bigaku ~ my beautiful sky) will be released on April 10th, 2009 and be followed by a nation-wide tour. Read more on Last.fm.
