They formed in 2001 as a 4-piece band under the name Derheiden(sometimes as Der heiden), but soon changed the name to Uma when guitarist Onyi joined the band. After several line-up changes and releases of demotapes, the band recorded a song for the compilation album TOGETOGETOKAGE in 2002. During this time the band consisted of vocalist Koji, guitarist Onyi, bassist Takke and drummer Rami. In 2003 bassist Takke became the band's MC and second vocalist, and bassist Ryou was added to complete the band's lineup. The band's sound shifted towards a more industrial approach during this time. In 2004 they released their first single, 「サテライト」, but soon after vocalist Koji and bassist Ryou left the band, leaving drummer Rami as the only remaining founding member. Takke took over all vocal duties, recruited bassist Junji and the band released their second single 「【U-G】レジスタンス」 in 2005. At the end of this year the band disbanded. Takke and Onyi formed the band Agnes Glad together, which stopped activities in 2007. Junji became know as lynch.'s support bassist for a few years.
