Formed in June 2010 as 【　　　】 , the band started its activities in 2010/06/26 @ 新宿LOFT. On 2010/09/25 live at 本八幡ROUTE14, the band name was officially changed to カッコー (cuckoo). In November 2010, The band will begin their first country-wide tour「カッコーの巣の上で」, beginning from Sapporo and performing in total of 4 cities. The band will also release its first mini-album the same month.
