Akira Kurosawa & His Los Primos was formed in 1961 as a Latin chorus group in Japan, and released their debut single on Crown in April 1966. In 1980, the group's leader Akira Kurosawa collapsed on stage and subsequently announced his retirement. The group then changed their name to Los Primos. The group's name changed once again in 2010, when they became Kōji Nagayama & Los Primos. Read more on Last.fm.
