A Vida Azul is a lounge music duo, drawing their inspiration from the rhythms of Brazil. Portuguese producers Miguel Caveido and André Sousa approached the project with the vision of combining the primal foundation of Samba drums with ambient modern electro sounds. Their eleven-track debut album, released in 2002, was entitled "New Morning", and featured the vocalists Clara Texeira, Carina de Jesus and Fatima Sousa. While the music gave a nod of the head to the roots of samba, its feeling was much lighter, laid back and relaxed, fitting itself into the "lounge" genre. Read more on Last.fm.
