Alexander Cardinale

Alexander Cardinale (aka Xander) - Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist, Producer/Engineer & Actor. He is a California native, and was raised on the central coast in Monterey. He now lives in Los Angeles where he has worked as an actor in Films, TV Shows & Commercials. This year Alexander shot a principal role in David Fincher's new movie The Social Network, written by Aaron Sorkin. Alexander also has his own recording studio located in THUD Studios of N Hollywood. There, he along with his producer/co-writer, Morgan Taylor Reid, are able to write and record his original music (available on iTunes) as well as music that has been featured (licensed) in Commercials, Film and Television projects around the globe. They also work out of Morgan's recording studio in W Hollywood. Most recently, Alexander's songs were featured in "One Tree Hill" on CW, "The Ghost Whisperer" on CBS, "Castle" and "Rookie Blue" on ABC, and coming soon to "Friends With Benefits" on NBC and "Hard Times Of RJ Berger" on MTV. Alexander has also written and produced songs with other songwriters and recording artists. He has built a following on the internet via Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and Reverb Nation. Alexander has over 80,000 fans online. The word seems to be spreading by electronic grass roots about Alexander's music. This year he showcases at SWSW, NAMM, DRIVEN, and The Indie Music Fest in Las Vegas. He's been a finalist in the national and international competitions Acoustic Live, Amercian Idol Underground, The UK Songwriting Contest and the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Today, he continues to perform around L.A. and across the country, establishing his position as an emotionally revealing and talented new artist. His latest EP was produced by Morgan Taylor Reid and mastered by Brian Gardner. He is currently signed with Riptide Music. He's been compared to recording artists like: Ryan Tedder, Brandon Flowers, John Mayer, Five For Fighting and Coldplay. In the current singer/songwriter renaissance, Alexander Cardinale hopes to stand out with his dense, contagious melodies and honest, poetic lyricism.
