Enter New Hampshire's Ambry. Having formed in the Summer of 2002. Ambry (Defined as: A niche near the altar of a church for keeping sacred vessels and vestments) sprung from mutual friendships, the demise of the members previous bands, a chance live journal post and the desire for all involved to write music from the heart that would affect listeners the same way their favorite bands have affected them. Having worked with the initial lineup for about a year a few bass player and drummer adjustments over that time takes us to early 2004 and the solid Ambry foundation that exists today. Made up of Justin Bloch (Guitar), Geof Gagnon (Guitar), Christopher Thibault (Vocals), Aaron Bernard (Bass), Derrick Flanagin (Drums) Now solidified team Ambry quickly entered Jam room studios in Hudson, NH and recorded a promising 3 song demo that combines the best elements of melodic punk with a heavy edge and darkly introspective lyrics. The 3 songs quickly garnered the band much internet attention, a multitude of Purevolume plays and a spot on the Summer 2004 Utterpunk.com tour that took them from one coast to the other and back. Along the way they shared the stage with bands such as Silverstein, Armor for sleep, Northstar, and Moneen then culminating in a hometown Warped tour appearance. Jump once more to Fall 2004 and Ambry becomes the third band to sign to The Death Scene based on the strength of their demo, live performance and determination to make amazing music. With the deal signed Ambry now prepares to enter the studio in January 2005 with noted producer Jesse Cannon (Static Lullaby, Northstar, Shai Hulud) to create what will undoubtedly be one of 2005’s standout releases. Upon completion of their new CD Ambry intend to leave their lives and loves behind to embark on a non-stop touring schedule in support of the release scheduled for Spring 2005. Ambry called it quits in 2005. Members went on to form Me as Time. In 2011, Ambry posted a new demo song called Gasoline to their bandcamp page. Many beards grew in celebration of a new song from one of the coolest bands ever. Read more on Last.fm.
