In July 2012, they released their first EP. It was embraced by the stoner audience and the band's fan base grew rapidly. Two years later, the band released their debut album "Into Orbit" (Pink Tank Records). In the fall of 2016, bass player Jelle Galle was replaced by Kris Hoornaert. For 2017, they have scheduled the release of a new 5-track EP, followed by a European tour. Atomic Vulture has toured in Europe several times, sharing the stage with bands such as Fatso Jetson, Greenleaf, Radar Men from the Moon, Labirinto, Spiders, King Hiss, Libido Fuzz, Papir, The Black Explosion, Sardonis...
