Barry Hay's Flying V Formation is a Dutch rock band. Founded in 2012, Barry Hay's Flying V Formation is "something new" by Barry Hay, frontman of Holland's number one export in rock, Golden Earring. In his Flying V Formation, Hay (1948) is backed by four young(er) musicians: Huub van Loon, Daim de Rijke, Pablo van de Poel (succesful as frontman of Dutch rock outfit, DeWolff) and Jan Rooymans. The band played a number of live shows in The Netherlands in 2012 and 2013 (some newly written material, some covers, a couple of Golden Earring numbers). February 2016 saw the release of the first official studio recording: début single, Wait A Minute, followed by the band's eponymous début album, Barry Hay's Flying V Formation (May 2016) Read more on Last.fm.
