Billy Green was an australian guitarist and composer who is most well known for his soundtrack to the psychedelic biker film Stone. The sounds range from spare, spooky Moog accents to ripping acid funk rock, to seedy jazz sounds, to a cosmic string band vibe. Green plays the guitars, and the individual numbers are generally in done with stripped down combos, but arrangements bring in a full range of instruments from electric guitars, banjo, harp, lusher string accents, snapping bass and heavy heavy drums, Moog, and even didgeridoo!
