Blinkie has been making music since the age of 15, and shows no signs of holding back now. With a rich portfolio of music, the producer and DJ does not limit himself to just one genre or sound. Inspired by the greats - Quincy Jones, Rick Ruben and Kanye West – Blinkie has a passion for music that transcends conventions and rules. Blinkie’s work is intelligent, creatively free and unrestrained – this shows in his manner and approach to life. With a variety of skills which extend beyond that of your typical producer, there is no hiding the impact he has on those around him. Working on both the underground and commercial scene, Blinkie enjoys discovering and working with talents from all areas of the industry. His latest release ‘Don’t Give Up (On Love)’ has taken the dance scene by storm, with firm support already achieved from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, Capital, Capital Extra and more. Recent works also include J Warner’s ‘Chill Chase’ featuring Wretch 32 and ‘Mr Officer’ from songstress Tanika. Both have received critical acclaim for the strong political and social messages they convey, and tribute paid to the beats that bring to life the lyrical journeys of the artists.
