Biography Brianna Gaither, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, crafts a unique blend of music best described as spiritual indie, reminiscent of artists like Regina Spektor and Ingrid Michaelson. A running theme can be found throughout Brianna Gaither's music: simplicity through complexity. (Edmond Outlook) Though the songs may be intricate and complex, the message is simple. Brianna’s first release “New Thoughts EP,” caused quite a stir. The album’s release show in April of 2009 gained so much attention that the venue had to be moved to accommodate the large crowd. A second release show was even held at a nearby church the following night for those who couldn’t make the first one. Her regional tour in support of the EP led to sales of well over 300 units during the summer of 2009 alone. In the summer of 2010 Brianna returned to the studio to record her second release, Love Is Patient, with producer/engineer Chris Freels (Matt Redman, Charlie Hall). Her highly-anticipated second album displays exponential growth, displaying Brianna with the backing of a full band and lush orchestral arrangements. Following it’s release in January of 2011, Brianna intends to begin a rigorous national tour in support of the album.
