Chico Magnetic Band were one badasss French outfit that melded the sounds of the early 70s hard rock of groups like Funkadelic and Led Zeppelin with musique concrete experimentation. The drummer and guitarist particularly stand out as top-flight heavy rock musicians on their lone French-only, self-titled album. Formed in 1969 as Chico & the Slow Death, the Magnetic Band was Chico- vocals, Patrick Garel- drums, Alain Mazet- bass, Bernard Monneri- guitar. Read more on Last.fm.
