Düz Mantık

Düz Mantık is a three-piece Izmir Fuck'ny Punk Rock band from Izmir. Ozan İşleticiler (guitar - vocal), Batu Divrik (bass guitar - back vocal) and Bilge Sağlam (drums - no vocal). These three young boys spend their adolescences trying to make some music. As a result they released their first E.P. "But your father is rich" via Internet on 2005. The extended play gain some success. Later on they continued working on their 2nd E.P. On 2007, they released the second E.P. "Yes". The E.p. contained 13 tracks. By this release, Düz Mantık gain a big fan base all over the Turkey. The band is now working on their 3rd E.P. Some of their new demos from this yet-not-released 3rd E.P. can be found on their Myspace. The name Düz Mantık means "Straightforward Logic" in Turkish. Drummer Bilge explained the phase with an example on their first T.V. apperance on TürkMax as "(They) say I look like my mother. (They) also say I look like my father's childhood. So is my father looks like my mother when he was a child?" The band played at some venues in Ankara and İstanbul, but they highy play on their Hometown, İzmir. Read more on Last.fm.
