Dalia Faitelson was born in Jerusalem in 1963 of Bulgarian and Israeli parents. Since 1991 living in Denmark. in 1990 Failtelson graduated as a soloist from Berkeley College of Music, USA, with the highest grades, Summa Cum Laude. She has received several awards, among these a jazz-Grammy for her critically acclaimed "Diamond of the Day". Over the years Dalia Faitelson has worked in the music industry in Denmark as Coach for musicians aiming at international careers, at administrative duties in the musicians union, taught singing, guitar and music theory, and today spends her life composing, managing international Choir projects, performing in countries all over the world and living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her solo albums are difficult to bind to genre, but a combination of world music and jazz is fitting. And there is the added exotic touch for most people that Faitelson always sings in Hebraic. Dalia Faitelson has a strong, dynamic voice, which has been compared to that of Marianne Faithfull. Reviews describe her flair for catchy songs and an uncanny ability to find the right musicians for her albums. Solo albums: * 2007 Pilpel (Double Moon Records, Germany) (w.
