www.darlingimperial.bandcamp.com www.myspace.com/darlingimperial Darling Imperial was a five-piece pop/rock band based in Detroit, Michigan. The band officially released two EP's, Takotsubo (2010) and I Know Everyone You Know (2009), alongside a small number of individual recordings before disbanding in 2011. The primary lineup featured vocalist Sarah Sadovsky, guitarist George Jacobsen, bassist and guitarist Carl Yute, guitarist Chris Vieau, and drummer Adam Hayes. The first incarnation of the band began in 2007 and lasted less than a year. Sadovsky and Jacobsen performed alongside Jamiel Dado, brother Christopher Dado, Mark Tabor, and Joshua Jarrett and composed original rock scores to two different silent movies for live performance, "Die Nibelungen: Siegfried" and "Decasia." Past members of Darling Imperial have been a part of a number of other Detroit bands, including Capitol Cities, Hotness, Anadonia, The Sisters Lucas, Troy Gregory, Right On Wagner, and the Croff Family Band.
