Daru Jones is a drummer/producer hailing from Michigan who encompasses live drum loops, jazzy samples and a soulful passion into all his beats. Drumming for live acts such as Slum Village, Black Milk, Hi-Tek & Talib Kweli also Idle Warship, as well as producing & remixing acts like Kissey Asplund, Tableek of Maspyke, Reggie B, Rena & others, Daru has gained international respect for his live and studio performances. His production company Rusic Music has released a string of projects featuring many known and undiscovered artists. Currently residing in New York City, he continues to push his musical style of Soul-Hop, a mesh between Hip-Hop and Soul.
