Dead 50s offer a truly original sound. Combining an eclectic range of influences including punk, rockabilly, metal, and rock, the band produces a sound not easily defined. But if labeling a band is necessary then the Dead 50s are probably the epitome of Rock & Roll. The sounds and energy of the band hark back to the days when music was fun and pure. When it hadn't an agenda but yet there was always that underlining message. A time when people went to see bands, not because of the lead singers political involvements or social stance, but because they wanted to let loose at a Rock show. That is what the Dead 50s are all about, letting loose and having fun. That attitude exudes from both their music and their live performances. The Dead 50s aren't trying to change the world, they are just trying to have fun in the world they're in. Read more on Last.fm.
