A husband and wife duo, John and Elizabeth Falconer lived in Japan for over a decade to study Japanese music from master teachers. Their love for Japanese music and culture comes alive in their warm, intimate, inspired performances. They have performed together in everything from international festivals to business events, museums, gardens, weddings, and teashops. Their music has been featured on NPR, network television programs, and in independent films. Their repertoire includes classical and traditional Japanese music and their own compositions and arrangements of jazz and popular songs. Duo En’s creative and skillful blending of East and West is what makes them uniquely appealing across cultures. They have released three CDs to popular acclaim: En: Affinity, Winter Cranes, and Moonviewing . Duo En's 2008 project was the release of two CDs featuring the music of the Japanese composer Sawai Tadao (1937-1997), "Spell of Spring" and "Stirring Autumn." Read more on Last.fm.
