Elba

We started 'elba', just for the fun a few years ago. To see if we could make the music we like partying on. It turned out to be just a bit more. It's still weird to hear our own music on the dance floors and in the gym while working out. We never thought it would come this far. We (eelco boonacker and bart engel) are 2 guys from Amsterdam with a long life passion for music. Making music for years now in totally different genres and styles as what you expect when you hear the music of elba. Bart has a background playing bass in jazz, funk and pop music. Eelco is since the early 80's involved in making the loudest punk music you can imagine. Screaming his lungs out and playing bass. To end half way the 90's on a guitar to do an European tour with his band (Union Morbide) together with the world famous band and friends of Pennywise. We still love the music we grew up with and purchase new music weekly in those genres and styles. But you have to be open minded for new experiences and influences. We hooked up with the dance scene from the beginning of this century and started "elba" in 2004. Read more on Last.fm.
