Greenscab

Rawpunk-band from Malmö which was more influenced by european bands than swedish/brittish. Greenscab were first called Doodles and released an album under that name. Johnny once said in an interview that "Frank Zappa was more punk than the whole fucking Discharge" explaining that he dared to go his own way and rejected the fixed rules. He created something vital, something own and that is punk. Not to copy your "idols". During their existence they managed to release one 7" on their own and one CD on Elderberry rec. They also appeared on various compilations, toured in Europe twice and played several gigs in Sweden and Denmark. They decided to split up due to musical differences and the fact that Greenscab felt like a routine. Today Püschel is playing in a new band, Redrum. Johnny & Sniff formed a new band called Rakitis.
