Jonathan Fagerlund

Jonathan Fagerlund is a talented 17 year old from Jönköping in Sweden and one of the country’s brightest upcoming stars. In spite of his incredibly young age, he is extremely experienced on stage, both vocally and visually. As part of his wealth of experience Jonathan spent a year performing with an international boy band. During his time as a member of Streetwise, Jonathan performed across Europe and the USA. When Jonathan made the move back to Sweden he re-established the contact with producer Samuel Waermö, who he worked with previously. Samuel has had over 15 songs that went on to become number one hits worldwide. He also produced six songs on Bon Jovi’s album “Bounce” and wrote and produced the song “Lonely No More” for American Idol singer Clay Aiken, amongst others. Samuel was not the first to notice that Jonathan had stunning potential with his amazingly rich voice, good looks and charisma, so it was an obvious decision to produce his solo album. Many of the worlds most appreciated song writers have contributed songs for this album, including Andreas Carlsson (Celine Dion, Britney Spears) and Savan Kotecha (Westlife, Carrie Underwood). Jonathan’s music could be described as “A young James Blunt meets Take That”. Jonathan has released three singles in Sweden; "Angeline", "Playing Me", which went to Number 1 in the iTunes sales chart. His most recent single "Dance In The Shadows" got great attention on Nickelodeon and MTV. This gave Jonathan the opportunity to be part of a 4 week summer tour with Nickelodeon in Sweden! Jonathan’s first studio album is is set for release the 27th of August. Jonathan has a large and loyal fan base on Myspace, with over 170 000 profile views and over 125 000 plays of his songs.
