The latest of jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman's groups, the Elastic Band consists of Joshua Redman (saxophones), Sam Yahel (keyboards), Brian Blade (drums), and Jeff Ballard (drums). For the recordings of "Momentum" Michael "Flea" Balzary (Red Hot Chili Peppers) was playing the bass-guitar on one song. Names as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Eric Krasno and others were also on the album.
