Kay Stone

I just want to tell a few things about me and how all this has begun. Before I start I want to thank all Kay Stone- Fans. You have a great influence on the success of the projects KASUMA, KAY STONE, DEE MARK, IMPAXX and JOSH FINNEGAN. Tanks to everybody once again. KASUMA was born in Radebeul ( Dresden) and has been living in Dresden until he was 20 years old.During this time I had my first contact to music.My parents realized in my early youth, that I had a good feeling for music and sent me to a music school for learning notes. Just kidding...to learn to play some instruments. In the music school I learned to play drums a little bit, but basically I played trompet, which didn`t help me much in the trance scene. Then I moved to Dortmund to make my musical ideas reality because it was very difficult to make them real in east Germany ( GDR). After a time my studio was ready to produce.Because I started to make music in the 90`s, I produced mostly Acid and Techno. Somehow it were funny times, because the music is still popular although many people think it`s rubbish. There were a lot of cool tracks which are still popular today. After some little publications I had the first bigger success alias DEE MARK. DEE MARK has been published on Fogarea where such prominent people as PULSEDRIVER and TILLMANN UHRMACHER have puplished. The track Moonwalker is up to now still popular It has been published on Garry G and Future Trance, to name only the most important compilations in Germany.There have been also lot of compilations abroad, like Nukleuz.In Africa and Australia compilations have been published, nearly all countries have played it.Since that time all happened very rapid.Time @ Space and Supernova followed, which has been loved very much especially in the Switzerland.Since these tracks DEE MARK has been played on nearly each STREETPARADE. The track SEVEN DAYS AND ONE WEEK has also been remixed by DEE MARK in a new way. The following tracks have been made under the pseudonym DEE MARK: SEVEN DAYS @ ONE WEEK, MOONWALKER, NEXT TO THE MOON, SUPERNOVA, TIME @ SPACE, STRINGS, FIREWORKS, TRANSISTORE, DESTINY to name only the most important. The last disc made by DEE MARK was Destiny which was loved very much, as the others tracks were too, but didn`t bring the success which I hoped. During this time I produced a lot of remixes for England and the Netherlands where I got the most of my experience from. I made also a Remix for Chris Menzi (Wavetraxx, DJ Loop). Than the time came in which I orientated myself on trance. The most known are Armin van Buuren or Ferry Corsten. Especially this two artists are my greatest idols who influenced my music and surely still will influence it. After several projects the project KASUMA was created .It should combine all the musical styles I produced before. I would like to thank especially Andreas Schmidt alias ACE DA BRAIN who shared my dream and took me to his label to publish my tracks.Thanks once again to VENOM. KASUMA should be something special, in which the deep of the sound should be the main aspect.I hope i could realize it on the track DREAMING. The project VENOM PRES. KASUMA is working very well, and we hope to publish more tracks on the label VENOM. We will see how much success this track will have. The track FEEL is a little bit different, but as good as DREAMING, published by ACTIVE SENSE. I would like to thank MIKE NERO and ANDY JAY POWELL who have made my dream come true and who published the rather trancy track FEEL on ACTIVE SENSE as the project DJ DAVE 202 PRES. IMPAXX. Thanks to Mike Nero who has made the hardmix. This track has been published on 10 Compilation. The next track has just benn published by DanceArea. I would like to thank DanceArea who have taken my track Baghdad Nights to their Label. The new Project will be named KAY STONE. This track will be published by Breeze and will be named ALONE. Thakns a lot to Breeze for taking me in their family, and giving me the opportunity to publish my track there. Thanks a lot guys. For this label work for example Mind ONE,DARKMOON,MICROBE,DJ SABU Andre Visior, who is surely known by several of you, and DJ Joda who joined the team not long before.
