The scene of pop music is a field that Kim Zolciak wishes to conquer, pulling forth a bundle of inspiration from her two children. Living in an exclusive gated townhouse community in Duluth, Georgia, she is the single mother of 12-year-old Brielle and 8-year-old Ariana. Her foray in the music business has landed her working alongside Grammy Award-winning mega-songwriter, Kandi Burruss. Her first single, “Tardy for the Party” was released on Sept 1, 2009. Its catchy hook helped Kim climb quickly to peak at number 3 on the Itunes Dance Charts within twenty-four hours. To date, the single has sold over 76,000 downloads (according to Nielsen Soundscan) and shows no signs of slowing down. Now, teaming up with high profile DJ/Remixer Tracy Young (whose accolades include Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, and Mary J. Blige to name a few) “Tardy for the Party – Remixes” continues to expand her fan base into clubland. Kim Zolciak is one of the housewives on Bravo TV’s docu-drama series The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The twelve-episode series follows five women from Atlanta’s social elite as they cope with their busy home lives and promising careers. The Real Housewives of Atlanta series was rated number one and scored the highest ratings on Bravo's network. Its record high ratings landed RHOA as the number one cable show during its air dates Kim is currently writing a book on makeup tips on a budget, the do's and don't, the how to's and the how not's.
