Kolpakov Trio is a Russian group created in 1990, featuring Alexander "Sasha" Kolpakov (Russian: Саша Колпаков) on vocals and a unique seven-string guitar. Sasha Kolpakov is of Romani decent (also and performs in Russian and in Romani. In 1995 their album "Rodava Tut" (Looking For You) was released and received widespread international fame.
