Leonor Andrade (born 13 September 1994) is a Portuguese singer and actress. Her first contact with music happened at the age of four, when she started to play the piano. She represented Portugal at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, with the song Há Um Mar Que Nos Separa. The piano is Leonor’s instrument of choice to compose her songs. She has always sung. Her first serious musical experience happened when she started her first band, Mariacaffe, a Portuguese rock band, with her brother and two friends. Later, she realised she really wanted to have a musical career and tried her luck at The Voice of Portugal. She was in Anselmo Ralph’s team and made it to the semifinals. After The Voice, she kept on working in music, writing her own songs and giving some concerts. She also had her first experience as an actress in the RTP series Água de Mar. Meanwhile, she was invited to participate in Festival da Canção and to give her voice to the song written by Miguel Gameiro. She has always loved Miguel’s work, so she couldn’t be happier. And finally she ended up winning Festival da Canção, much to her surprise. In 2016, she released her album "Setembro", with songs in English and Portuguese. Read more on Last.fm.
