M.O.D.E. Few artists have the level of success M.O.D.E. have experienced so early in their careers, but it seemed obvious from very early on that these guys were different. A little over 8 months since their inception, and both the industry and clubbers around the world are already hooked on the infectious sound that is unique to M.O.D.E. Being hassled by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Prydz, Cattaneo, Lawler, Cox, Garnier, Dubfire, Gerber, Boratto, Fanciulli, etc, etc, on a daily basis for their upfront releases is something the guys are learning to take in their stride, and with various original work for their brand new M.O.D.E. imprint on the way, things are looking good. Witnessing first hand just how their productions fill a dance floor, it instantly hits home why they are already so heavily in demand. Their tracks combine a cutting edge style that fuses elements of house and techno whilst always containing a sexy low end funk that is devastating sound systems all over the world. It’s little wonder that John Digweed (who discovered them) chose them to remix the seminal ‘Heaven Scent’ as their debut remix, and they delivered with such precision that the remix is now signed to Bedrock and is one of the main features on John’s ’Bedrock 10’ compilation. Further remixes for Bedrock, Global Underground, Yoshitoshi, Audio Therapy and Forensic are due for release in the coming weeks, whilst a series of original EPs are being released on their own M.O.D.E. label every 6 weeks through 2009. As well as the studio time spent producing a new blend of techno and tech house, the pair can also be found dj’ing at numerous venues around the world. Using Ableton, cdjs and EFX their forward thinking sets incorporate their own productions along with the latest and best music from the scene’s finest producers. So welcome to M.O.D.E. – please take some time out to have a look around, listen to mixes, and become a friend. Most of all please enjoy the music… http://www.modemusic.net/ Read more on Last.fm.
