MYSTYRYS write uniquely urgent, intricate songs that clash 60's harmonies and dreamlike melodies against ornate, dynamic drums and jarring guitar. Bound by a mutual love of obscure Oakland trio Natural Dreamers, Adam Slater (guitar/vocals) and Sagar Patel (drums) took refuge in a series of divey London rehearsal spaces, quickly amassing a body of material just slightly the wrong side of discernible. Jon Clifford (bass/vocals) joined soon afterwards and provided an anchor for the band's developing sound. With the personnel settled, the band gradually evolved to incorporate the psyche of art rock bands such as Women, the raw immediacy of early Liars and the baroque post-punk of Red Krayola. https://www.facebook.com/mystyrysband http://psyheal.net/ Read more on Last.fm.
