Maella Abbey was an American three-piece Technical Deathcore band from Tampa, Florida, which was formed in May of 2010. The band consists of John Galloway, Brett Ruch, and Lamp. The roles of each individual are as follows: Galloway does vocals, synth, programming, graphic design, producing, and managing. Ruch does guitars, bass, synth, and programming. Lamp does drums. The band has, since their formation, released a 4-track EP entitled "Nechryael," and have released multiple single songs since, with announced plans to release another EP and album. On March 17th, 2011, just under a year after the band formed, John left and they pretty much broke up, dawg. Though, the shitty underground pseudo-technical deathcore band known as Maella Abbey has broken up, John alludes that none of the band's members are anywhere near done making music.
