Maria Timm (X-Broken Beats and present member of Marybell Katastrophy) from Aarhus, Denmark is pop music, yet edgy. It’s catchy, full of attitude and raw female power, aimed right at your dancing shoes! She played Roskilde Festival in July 2008 - despite the fact that she hadn’t released anything yet. Since then Maria Timm has been one of the most hyped & buzzed acts in Denmark. The debut single, Dirty Place, was released in October 2008 and is still under high rotation on Danish National Radio (The video was released January 2009). 2008 ended with a nomination in the prestigious National Radio Awards (‘P3 Gold’), where Maria was nominated as Talent of The Year.
