Martin Rolinski was born on the 23rd of June, 1982. Both of his parents are from Poland and he speaks fluent Polish. He was raised in Göteborg, Sweden, and has no siblings. Martin is also allergic to pollen and doesn't like candy. When he was young he studied at a Catholic school, and he was a real talent in playing tennis. He belonged to best juniors in Sweden, and was offered a spot at a tennis school in Texas, USA, but decided to go to a school in Sweden, trying to get a Master's Degree in Engineering. He started his career in 2002 when he made a bet with his friends to go on an audition for Popstars, a TV reality show searching for new artists. Martin made it to the final group of people who fought for the win, but he got eliminated in the middle of the season. After Popstars in 2003, Martin worked with Anders Hansson, who was in contact with Alexander Bard. Through Anders, Martin got in touch with Alexander and suddenly Martin became the lead singer of Alexander's new band Bodies Without Organs together with Marina Schiptjenko and Alexander himself. In 2004, Bodies Without Organs' debut-single Living In A Fantasy was released in lots of countries in Europe, and they made themselves a huge fanbase on a very short matter of time. After competing in Swedish Melodifestivalen 2005 with the song Gone (which didn't go very well), their debut-album was released in March the same year, called Prototype. As their success proceeded with 7 hit-singles from Prototype, Martin got more famous and he was named as one of the sexiest men in Sweden. Martin lives with his girlfriend Katarina in an apartment in Stockholm, a girlfriend he's had since three years. In 2006, Bodies Without Organs competed once again in Melodifestivalen with the song Temple of Love, but this time with a whole lot more success than the year before. They also introduced themselves as BWO, not Bodies Without Organs. They shortened their name because they realized that many Europeans can not pronounce 'Bodies Without Organs', but 'BWO' is more simple and means the same thing. Temple of Love made it to a second spot in Melodifestivalen with great success, and in April BWO's new album Halcyon Days was released. Now, BWO are on a tour over Europe. In Sweden, they are making a couple of festival-apperances and they are also coming along on Rix FM festival 2006. Martin Rolinski with the golden hair is now known as the lead singer of one of Sweden's most popular bands. At the same time, he studies at KTH (Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan) in Stockholm.
