A trio grande of jazz, funk, and avant-garde groove, rocketing back and forth across the musical genre-scape, from reggae to drum'n'bass, Latin to electro, and gospel to Deathklezmer. MSG is: Noah "Michael" Cole, Peter "Shakley" Van Siclen & Danji "Graham" BBuck-Moore, and occasionally Jason "Michael" Dean! Although at times we used to pretend to be "The Peter Van Siclen Trio", which coincidentally included all the same band members, we are indeed a true trio grande: Michael Shakley & Graham. A one-word genre would be too confining to accurately describe MSG. The following styles do, however, come to mind: Jazz, Funk, Latin, Experimental, D'n'B, Hip Hop, Electronica, Avant-garde, Rock, Blues, Soul, Reggae, Deathklezmer. Michael Shakley & Graham are an explosion of creative genious blazing the way through a new millenium at light speed. Miles Davis raves, "Fantastic!", Albert Einstein describes them as "Brilliant", while George Washington thought they played "OK." Read more on Last.fm.
