6 elements, 6 minds operating as one The Amsterdam based rapmetal band, has set out to bring you a riveting ride on their musical rollercoaster. After being absent from the ever growing and commercialized crossover scene, the hard-hitting crossover flavor of Motherfed is back. Motherfed, in English it means fed by yo momma but in Dutch it means All that. The group Motherfed started of somewhere around 1996 consisting of Raoul, Marc, Reeve and Stephan. Trying to mix hip hop and metal instead of letting the two entities live along side each other, the band started their musical quest. After a few changes in line up and the release of there first EP, the band has now matured to the point that they're ready to give you that Motherfed sound, straight from the triple X (that's Amsterdam for those who don't know). Right now the band (enforced by Daan on bass and Sander on guitar) has finished their work in the lab. Creating that new sound that makes the metalheadz jump and the hip-hop headz bounce to the same tune. Front man Reeve says: We want ladies in the front row, skaters and metalheadz in the pit and b-boys snapping their head on the side, all having a good time. Performing is still what it's all about, the band gets their adrenaline from playing live and being out there connecting with the fans. And performed the band has, sharing the stage with Dutch top acts like Anouk and the Urban Dance Squad and international act like Guano Apes, bloodhound gang and Therapy?. Motherfed has toured all over Europe building an ever-increasing fan base and as guitar player Raoul and Drummer Stephan say: Het moet nu echt gebeuren. Which roughly translated means It's make or break time. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
