Oh Tebins

Recent transplant Kevin Speltz has set up shop in the Arizona desert but his head is still trained on the grayer moods of his former home in Seattle as the producer Oh Tebins! drops his newest piece of work, the aptly titled Arizona EP. Relatively new in on the national scene, Speltz has been producing tunes as Oh Tebins! for nearly three years. Always with their ears trained on the sounds coming from deep underground, Simplfy Recordings heard what great music Speltz was making and have released several of the artist’s singles with positive feedback from critics and fans alike. The warmth of the Southwest sun has done little for lightening the mood around Speltz’s work. On the Arizona EP Speltz shows the mood and gloom of his Northwest roots, blending somber melodies, cinematic soundscapes, and emotronic breakbeats with just the lightest touch of bass to create some wonderful intelligent downbeat dub-esque music.
