PURETTY (퓨리티, ピュリティ) was a Korean girl group formed by DSP Entertainment. The group's name is a portmanteau of the words "Pure" and "Pretty". The group debuted first in Japan in 2012 under Universal Music Japan. Their debut single "Check It☆Love" (チェキ☆ラブ) was used as the ending theme for the anime Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. Their second and last single, "Shuwa Shuwa BABY" (シュワシュワBABY), was also used as an ending theme for the same anime. In January 2014, DSP Media announced that the group had been disbanded. Members: Jieun Shiyoon Hyein Chaekyung Somin Somin re-debuted as a member of April (에이프릴) in 2015, but left the group before their first comeback. Currently she is a member of the co-ed group K.A.R.D. Chaekyung and Shiyoon competed in the survival show "Produce 101", but neither made it to the Top 11 (the winning members who would form a temporary group). Chaekyung was also a member of one-time units C.I.V.A and I.B.I. In 2016 she joined April (에이프릴) as a new member. Read more on Last.fm.
