Paul Laine is a Canadian musician who has worked with several rock bands. He was the singer of Danger Danger for 10 years, and is now fronting his own band, Shugaazer. Paul was born in Vancouver, Canada. He left home when he was 13 years old, and began playing in bars before he was 18. He recorded a demo that got the attention of Canadian VJ Terry David Mulligan, and Laine was promptly signed to a management and then a major label deal. Laine then formed a band to record and perform his compositions. In 1990, he released his debut album called "Stick It In Your Ear". Laine has also recorded backing vocals for Scorpions. However in 1993 the members of Danger Danger came across Laine's debut album. They liked his voice and offered him the lead vocalist spot in their band. He recorded 5 albums with the band during this period. He finally left the band in 2005 to work with his own band, Shugaazer. Read more on Last.fm.
