Rajan & Sajan Mishra are two of the leading vocalists in classical Indian music. They received their training from their father, himself a well-known vocalist, and their uncle, who was one of the leading sarangi players of India. They are considered the foremost exponents of the Benares style of singing. Shruti Sadolikar is also a vocalist in the North Indian classical tradition. Like the Mishra brothers, she began her studies by receiving instruction from her father. She continues her studies to this day and incidentally has herself served as pop singer Susheela Raman's teacher in classical Indian music. Read more on Last.fm.
