The electronic-experimental duo Romantica hails from the historic and beautiful island of Gotland east of mainland Sweden, consisting of Hanna and Danjel May who met in late summer 2004. Danjel, who had several years worth of band experience, presented his electronic music to Hanna, who had been busy travelling the world (and New York in particular) and magic happened. The music is a blend of downright synthpop, electronica, electro clash, ambient and still more, and with soothing female voices on top. The first demo was featured on Swedish national radio and their first gig ever was at the famous Club Shindig in Visby, the islands capital city, in September 2005. They are now signed with Electric Fantastic Sound. 3. The glam visual group.
