Rubyhorse were an Irish rock band made up of Dave Farrell, Joe Philpott, Decky Lucey, Gordon Ashe and Owen Fegan from Cork. Often compared to Coldplay, Counting Crows and U2, they have a distinctive full-flavoured layered rock sound led by Farrell's lead vocals. They moved from Cork, Ireland to Boston MA in 1999, and despite critically acclaimed albums and work with the likes of George Harrison, did not achieve commercial success. The group disbanded in 2008. More at: http://www.cluas.com/music/features/rubyhorse.htm and http://www.rubyhorse.com. Read more on Last.fm.
