Sergio always loved music and constantly fantasized about performing for ages. However, he actually started playing very late. He began when he was 26 years old, learning Flamenco music on an Acoustic guitar. He practiced for 3 years on and off with a great teacher, reaching a level where he could play 2 songs and a bunch of chords and rhythms. He wrote down in a journal “Medium-term goal, play live music by the age of 30". It felt so far away and seriously unlikely. He then went to a yoga centre in the US held by a renown Indian mystic Sadhguru. He had great results from practicing yoga before but this class looked like another level. A week after he returned from the class, a song just popped out of his head together with a whole tune. It took 30min to write, and 3 hours to learn how to perform it to a basic level. Where did that come from? He even began to sing. That was a first for him! So he played to a friend of his, quite nervous of his friends reaction. He was told to bring his guitar on the trip his friend was organising. Sergio was shocked, scared but mostly excited. Isn’t this a HUGE step? So, 2 weeks later, he played live in front of 50 strangers and a bunch of friends at a hotel in Romania . Dream come true!!! Read more on Last.fm.
