Short Stack

There are at least 2 bands called Short Stack: 1. Short Stack is an Australian pop punk band, formed in 2005. The band consisted of members Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb. Shannon Hotchkins was also a member of Short Stack before any song was ever performed or recorded. Short Stack have twice been named channel [V]'s Oz Artist of the year, and produced two gold-selling albums, three top ten singles, and ARIA number one chart award and a platinum-selling single. They have also shared the stage with many big name artists such as McFly, Hellogoodbye, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and The Veronicas, many of which while still completing their HSC. However, in 2012, the group split. Their third album was released in October 2013, with no promotion or comments made concerning the release. In April 2014, the band announced their reformation. Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb met on the train to the Hunter School of Performing Arts in Newcastle, New South Wales. Eventually, they decided to form a band and named it Short Stack. Originally, Shannon Hotchkins played drums, Webb played guitar, Clemmensen played bass and Diviney was the lead vocalist. However, after Hotchkins left, Diviney heard Webb playing on the drums and realised that he had the talent. So, Diviney became the lead vocalist and guitarist, Clemmensen stayed on bass, and Webb became the drummer 2. Short Stack was a punk band from Brooklyn, New York active during the mid '00s. Members went on to play in other bands such as Dead Dog, Raw//War, Sleepwalk, Six Pack Four and Beer Garden. Read more on Last.fm.
