1] Slyder was the brainchild of Jeremy Dawson and Gregori Chad Petree out of Los Angeles, CA. They got a break being featured on "Rise FM" on the popular game Grand Theft Auto 3. Slyder's music is progressive dance, often with a big introduction before the main beat is introduced. Currently, Jeremy and Chad are in the indie/rock band Shiny Toy Guns. 2] Slyder is an improv-noise-extravaganza band from The Hague (NL) consisting of Michiel Breedveld (drums/vocals), Lee Bourke (guitar), Olaf Wempe (guitar) and Jan Borchers (bass). Slyder is the musical equivalent of Jackson Pollock. Important for the renowned action painter was not the result but the development of his work. Wild strokes, dripping and hurling of paint, scraping. Pure expression, without stylistical or technical limitations.
