Progressive metal power trio stOrk, is comprised of Shane Gibson (KoRn) and Austrian-born super drummer, Thomas Lang. Berklee School of music grad, Shane Gibson is best known as the touring guitarist from Korn, but recently left the band to pursue stOrk full-time. Gibson's frequent use of odd time signatures, heavy riffing, poly-rhythms, innovative tapping sequences and his impressive sweep picking technique provides the sonic spine of stOrk's masterful, musical progeny. World-renowned drummer Thomas Lang attended the Vienna Conservatory of music. In addition to touring and recording with a variety of acts, Lang is well-known as a clinician and has authored several best-selling books and educational DVDs including "Creative Control" and "Creative Coordination." Rhythm magazine recently named Lang, "One of the Top 20 Drummers of the Past 25 Years." Rounding out this ultra power trio is Eloy Palacios (Vension) on bass. Based in Los Angeles, stOrk's self-titled debut album is scheduled for release in January, 2011 on MUSO Entertainment. Read more on Last.fm.
