Sune Rose Wagner

Sune Rose Wagner is a Danish musician and songwriter living in New York. Most acclaimed worldwide is his work in the band The Raveonettes. He was born in 1973. He recently released his first solo album with Danish lyrics, due to an intermezzo in The Raveonettes during Sharon Foos maternity leave. His first band was called Western Front which later changed name to Psyched Up Janis and become very popular in Denmark. He has since worked with Danish bands such as Sort Sol and Viva Vertigo. He made the band Tremolo Beer Gut with Yebo, who also was part of Psyched Up Janis. In 2003 he was awarded the prestigious "Steppeulv" award for his work in The Raveonettes. Sune Wagner malede i sine unge år graffiti med "pornogangsteren" L:Ron:Harald. Med enten Psyched Up Janis, Tremolo Beer Gut, Sort Sol, Niels Skousen eller The Raveonettes har Sune Wagner spillet på Roskilde Festival hvert år fra 1994 til 2003 samt 2005. Sune Wagner har desuden været assistent for fotografen Søren Solkær (Starbird) og producerede og spillede guitar/diverse instrumenter på Viva Vertigos debut "Viva Viva", der udkom i 2004 på Bad Afro Records.
