Up to now multi-musically talented Danyell (a.k.a. Detechtive) has been very much in evidence as a driving force for various bands and manifold electronic projects as well as for theatre and video productions. Now, with his new concept Telemen, he is stepping out of the studio shades to establish stage presence in the front row. Telemen already have successfully played relevant clubs and festivals in Germany: Airport/Würzburg, Distillery/Leipzig, Flokati/Munich, Metronom/Berlin; Elektrobunker at Popkomm/Cologne, Fusion Festival/Müritz, SonneMondSterne Festival/Saalburg and much more. 12 great tracks have been produced in cooperation with the Berlin-based DJ/producer team Stashrider and Toxic Twin (Holgistar & Emerson, DJ Spud, Brotherhood, I.T. Electronics among others). The Telemen debut album "God Is a Computer" was released through multiColor Recordings in February 2004. Their music is marking the up-to-date interface of Pop and club music, has been well received already via official national airplay testing. The tracks are connecting the functional, elastic rhythmics of TecHouse with the sensual factors of melodics and vocals. On this occasion Telemen don't use the slightly clumsy peculiarities of the Eighties to merely gain a hip value of recognition. They rather profit successfully from their composition skills to merge the contemporary musical variety, at the same time undergoing the result a thermotherapy which will pad the dancefloor like an euphorical shower. Mastermind Danyell is in the know. The man from Berlin travelled around musical genres not as a tourist but more being somebody who is honestly interested in all aspects and attractions of different cultural forms of expression. He draws his musical influences from professional productions of all styles having emerged within the last decades: he integrated his countless talents into Rock, Punk, Funk, Blues bands, choirs, Techno and manifold electronic projects as well as into visual productions (theater and video) – without ever having been scared at the idea of contact. After having terminated a major contract, he began to orientate himself anew to realize his unique vision of Pop music primarily being born of his passion for the emotional maximum of moving sound, image and exceptional performance. On this occasion he is cooperating with the twin DJ/producer team Stashrider (Holgistar & Emerson, DJ Spud, Brotherhood, Stashrider & Talisman among others; remix for "Die Ärzte") and Toxic Twin (Brotherhood, Toxic Twin vs. Lars B., I.T. Electronics, T.I.-Projekt) who belong to the "New Generation" of the Berlin scene. Already the music of Telemen alone is iridescent design which gets moving with a thrill during his exciting, energetic stage shows. The dynamics of presentation prevent mere consumption. The spectacular is vitalized by a polished mix of House, renovated Retro electronics, Pop and vocals radiating much warmth. The music is expanding to spread pleasant showers over music lovers and dancers. The energy being released from this sound is constantly noticeable.
