THE DIVIDED are an energetic five piece melodic hardcore/metal band from the South coast of England. The band hit the live scene back in April 2010 and have since played shows with the likes of Heart In Hand and Silent Screams and have shows confirmed with the likes of Dead and Divine, Demoraliser and more. The band’s first two track release resulted in a feature as Kerrang! Magazine’s ‘Local Heroes’ in addition to radio airplay across the country. The Divided are passionate about their music and have spent the recent months tearing up the UK with their blistering live show. On 24th March 2012 the band released their debut E.P/mini album ‘For Tonight We’re Strangers’. The E.P features 6 tracks of the band’s signature melodic yet heavy sound and includes special guest vocalist Karl Schubach from Misery Signals/Solace on the title track. Misery Signals have been a big influence for The Divided over the years and the band couldn’t be happier to have him be part of their debut. Schubach has also said that he is “stoked” to be part of the release. The band are currently making plans for 2012 with some big things in the pipeline.
