The Batfinks is a Psychobilly band. During the mid- to – late 80’s Psychobilly music was experiencing a boom in the UK and mainland Europe. The scene had kicked off early in the decade and there soon followed a tidal wave of bands and labels all scrabbling to cater for the massive demand for Psychobilly music. Some bands lasted longer than others and whilst the Batfinks didn’t last as long as some, they thankfully left a legacy in the form of an album and some live recordings. Not much is known about the Batfinks and exhaustive attempts to track them down have all spectacularly failed. In fact the only info that investigations turned up was a flyer for an all-dayer in 1989 and a short review in a fanzine. Read more on Last.fm.
